Marc opened his first shop in 1974 in Ottawa, Ontario. Since that time it has been his passion to understand the mystery and intricacies of making the perfect acoustic guitar.

Marc takes every new guitar commission as a challenge filled with variances and nuance. It is for this reason that Marc chose to work alone, carefully ensuring the highest standards throughout. Marc's guitars are played by the likes of American Fingerstyle Champion Don Ross, world renowned Celtic guitarist Tony McManus, Craig D'Andrea, David Gillis, Paul Asbell, Del Vezeau, and Ray Montford. Marc's guitars enjoy a reputation for the highest standards of workmanship.

Marc believes that creating a guitar is often a collaborative project between luthier and player, and thus, welcomes the opportunity to work with customer's inputs. Personal service has long been an important part of his approach as according to him, that a satisfied customer is the best possible advertising. Marc feels fortunate to follow a career that he would gladly have as a hobby, and he is thankful for the opportunity to do what he loves best, creating acoustic guitars.
